Paid brand relationships

Ovie Mughelli has paid brand-ambassador and spokesperson relationships with companies named on this site. Campaigns, appearances, media tours and social posts made in connection with those relationships are compensated.

The Federal Trade Commission requires that a material connection between an endorser and a brand be disclosed wherever the endorsement appears. Where a specific campaign is described on this site, it is identified as a paid engagement in the description of that campaign.

Companies with a current or past compensated brand relationship include AFLAC, Roku, Lipton, Post Cereal and Walmart.

Compensation for introductions

Through The Mughelli Group, Ovie Mughelli represents companies to potential partners, investors and customers. He may receive compensation, commission, or equity in connection with introductions made through The Mughelli Group, including introductions that begin on this site.

This applies to the consulting relationships described on the Consulting page. If you are introduced to a company through Ovie Mughelli, assume he has a financial interest in that introduction unless he tells you otherwise.

Healthcare companies and medical advice

Companies described on the Consulting page operate in employee benefits and healthcare. Capstone Health provides virtual primary care, behavioural health and chronic-disease management for employers. AFLAC provides supplemental insurance. GP Agency is a benefits brokerage.

The Ovie Mughelli Foundation

The Ovie Mughelli Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) organization with its own governance and its own finances. It is not owned or controlled by The Mughelli Group LLC, and donations to the Foundation do not fund the commercial activities described on this site.

Speaking engagements

Keynote and workshop engagements are paid engagements. Fees are described on the FAQ. Where Ovie speaks without a fee — for a nonprofit, a school, or the Foundation — that is stated at the event.
